Montgomery County is the most populous county in Maryland and is located adjacent to Washington DC. As one of the most affluent counties in the United States, Montgomery County also has the highest percentage of residents that hold post graduate degrees. Like other inner suburban Washington DC counties, Montgomery County contains many Federal Government offices, scientific research and learning centers as well as technology business campuses and it is the epicenter for biotechnology in the Mid-Atlantic region.

For outdoor enthusiasts, hike the nearby historic C & O Canal, visit Great Falls Park including the famous Billy Goat Trail and enjoy beautiful parks such as Black Hills Regional Park and Seneca Creek State Park.

Montgomery County offers endless art, entertainment and some of the region’s most historical sites as well as a gateway to Washington D.C. Some of the more well know art centers include the Black Rock Center for Performing Arts, Strathmore and the Olney Theater Center.

Germantown is where the Maryland Soccerplex is located and is home to the women’s professional soccer team, the Washington Spirit. There is a huge fan base for the other Washington professional sports teams including the 2019 World Series Champion Washington Nationals, the Washington Redskins, Washington Capitals and the Washington Wizards.
