Montgomery County is the most populous county in Maryland and is located adjacent to Washington DC. As one of the most affluent counties in the United States, Montgomery County also has the highest percentage of residents that hold post graduate degrees. Like other inner suburban Washington DC counties, Montgomery County contains many Federal Government offices, scientific research and learning centers as well as technology business campuses and it is the epicenter for biotechnology in the Mid-Atlantic region.

For outdoor enthusiasts, hike the nearby historic C & O Canal, visit Great Falls Park including the famous Billy Goat Trail and enjoy beautiful parks such as Black Hills Regional Park and Seneca Creek State Park.

Germantown is where the Maryland Soccerplex is located and is home to the women’s professional soccer team, the Washington Spirit.
