Giving Back


At Tri-County MD Home Team , we believe we should give back to the communities we are a part of and do business in.

Currently, we are involved with the following organizations, either through monetary donations or serving in a voluntary capacity:

  • CHILDREN’S MIRACLE NETWORK – a portion of every commission we earn is donated to Children’s Miracle Network. All money donated stays local and is given to Children’s Hospital Center in Washington D.C.
  • MONTGOMERY HOSPICE, MONTGOMERY KIDS – For about two years, one of Allan’s daughters used to be the only full-time pediatric hospice nurse/case worker in the county, helping to care for terminally ill children and their families. We make a donation at least annually to this loving and caring group.
  • METAVIVOR Research and Support – This organization helps fund research for metastatic breast cancer. The vast majority of the money donated to breast cancer organizations does not get earmarked for metastatic breast cancer. This group focuses on finding treatments and hopefully a cure for this deadly form of breast cancer.
  • ROTARY CLUB OF MONTGOMERY VILLAGE – David has been an active member of Rotary for many years now and loves serving the causes the group supports in the community.
  • ALS FOUNDATION – We have had several clients who have had a family member stricken with this dreadful disease. It is in their honor and memories that we donate annually to this cause.
  • SCHOOL SUPPLY DONATIONS – Every year we provide supplies to a teacher for their classroom. In the past we have purchased headphones for every student in a 4th grade class so they can do their work on their Chromebooks properly. We have also donated classroom supplies such as pencils, coloring items, tissues, and hand sanitizer. We defer to the teacher’s requests to ensure we provide the items that are most in need by the teacher for their students.
  • AMERICAN DIABETES ASSOCIATION – Many members of Allan’s family have had diabetes and because of that we are proud to support this organization with an annual donation.
  • MARCH OF DIMES – When Allan was a child, he had to go to the March of Dimes clinic regularly for a couple of years to deal with an issue that eventually disappeared. We donate to this group so they can continue to support children in need.

If you have a particular group or cause that is especially important to you, let us know and when you buy or sell a house through us, we will gladly make a donation to that cause in your honor.
